Instructions
Step 1. Remove the water tank, discard any water and remove the old filter. Then check if the tank is clean.
Step 2. Fill the tank with clean tap water and hold the new filter for about one minute upside down in the water. So that all the air goes out of the filter (Wait until no more air bubbles come out of the filter.)
Step 3. Insert the water filter in the water tank and place the tank back in the machine. Turn the date disc on the water filter 2 months ahead. So that you know when to change the filter.
Step 4. Turn the steam pipe button open and rinse your machine with hot water through the steam pipe. Afterwards, discard the water and turn the steam pipe button again.
Installation Tip
There is a blue cap on top of the filter that you can turn. The numbers 1 to 12 represent the months of the year. Set the filter to the next two months. This makes it easy to know when the filter needs replacing.

Hope it is going to protect it from lime scale (previous machine was already destroyed by it). one filter approximately last up to 2 months if you are using your machine as expected. In stand by mode for few weeks, the filter will last no more that 4 weeks.
