Great that you are cleaning your DeLonghi Magnifica or Dynamica with Eccellente Cleaning tablets for DeLonghi. You get a warning light (a red triangle) and your coffee machine does not make coffee in the pre-ground coffee setting. You're wondering what to do. We will gladly be of assistance to solve this issue!

The DeLonghi Magnifica and Dynamica do not have a separate function for cleaning the coffee machine, unlike most coffee machine brands. To clean the brewing group, we use the compartment for pre-ground coffee powder. Your coffee machine weighs whether pre-ground coffee has been placed before brewing coffee.

 

 

Cleaning your Delonghi coffee machine with cleaning tablets gives an error message

 

Your coffee machine gives a warning and the cleaning tablets end up unused in the waste bin.

 

SOLUTION: You can solve this problem by using three Eccellente Cleaning tablets instead of two. Make sure you break the cleaning tablets in half before using them. In some cases, three is still insufficient and you will need four cleaning tablets to initiate the process. Alternatively, you can use two Eccellente cleaning tablets in combination with a little pre-ground coffee to start the cleaning process.
