Watch this video or use the instructions under the video for descaling your DeLonghi machine.
Step 1:
- Remove the water tank and water filter from the machine.
- Discard the water.
- Add 100 ml of Eccellente Quick Bio Descaler into the water tank.
- Add water to the maximum line
- Place the water tank back in the machine without the water filter
- Empty the drip tray and replace it in the machine
Step 2:
- Press the descale button for three seconds
- Place a large container under the hot water outlet
- Place a large container under the coffee spout
- Switch on the steam button
- It will flow through in 15 minutes
Step 3:
- Replace the steam button
- Empty the bowl, glass and water tank
- Clean the water tank with fresh water
- Refill the tank with water to the maximum line
- Empty the drip tray and place it back in the machine
- Place the water tank back in the machine
- Place the trays back under the steam nozzle and coffee spout
- Switch off the steam nozzle
- Water will flow through the machine
- Replace the steam trap
- Empty the bowl, glass and water tank
- Refill the water tank with fresh water
- Place the water filter in the water tank
- Empty the drip tray
- Place the water tank back in the machine.
