Description

The Siemens EQ Series 2-in-1 cleaning tablets remove all coffee fats, coffee oils and other coffee residues from your Siemens EQ coffee machine. This prolongs the life of your Siemens machine. In addition, the 2-in-1 function provides an extra protective layer. This protective layer protects the coffee pipes and moving parts within your Siemens EQ coffee machine.

To keep your Siemens EQ coffee machine in the best possible condition, our experts recommend regular descaling. When you make coffee, limescale is released due to the heating of the water. Limescale gets stuck in the pipes. To remove this limescale, Siemens EQ series 2-in-1 descaling tablets have been developed. These Siemens descaling tablets effectively and safely remove limescale from your coffee machine. With the additional 2-in-1 function, these descaling tablets protect your Siemens machine from corrosion. You will receive this set as individual products.

Instructions

Your Siemens EQ espresso machine can be descaled and cleaned at the same time. Below are the instructions:

1. Hold down the Calc’nClean button for 5 seconds.
2. Open the side entry, remove the drip tray and coffee grounds container and rinse them clean.
3. Remove and clean the brewing group.
4. Insert a Siemens EQ.series 2-in-1 cleaning tablet into the brewing group and refit the brewing group.
5. Refit the drip tray and coffee grounds container and close the door.
6. Remove the water filter (if present).
7. Fill the empty water tank to the mark with 0.5 l lukewarm water and dissolve a Siemens EQ.series 2-in-1 descaling tablet in it.
8. Put the tank back and place a large bowl (approx. 1 l) under the spout.
9. Calc’nClean flashes, touch it. The programme starts, cleans and descales the appliance.
10. Calc’nClean pulses. This process takes about 20 minutes.
11. Empty the bowl, open the side entry, empty the drip tray and reinsert it.
12. Close the entry and place bowl under the spout.
13. Clean the water tank and reinstall the water filter (if you removed it).
14. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the “max” mark and place the bowl back under the spout system.
15. Calc’nClean flashes, touch Calc’nClean. The programme starts, cleans and rinses the appliance.
16. Calc’nClean pulses. This process takes about 20 minutes again.
17. Empty, clean and reinsert the drip tray and coffee grounds container. The programme is finished. The machine is again completely ready for use!
